Agroils conducted additional tests to validate the superior quality of Jatropha oil produced with its proprietary technology. Tests were conducted in California, USA.
The oil produced fulfills the most stringent specifications on vegetable oils for the production of energy and biodiesel. In particular, contrary to traditional oil extraction methods, the oil generated by Agroils’ process presents phosphorous, magnesium and calcium contents well below the limits required by DIN EN V51605 (10-12 ppm). Therefore further oil refining processes to upgrade oil quality (i.e. degumming for the production of biodiesel) are not required anymore. The oil can be used directly to fuel low-speed gensets for the production of energy.
